The Pangarchulla Peak Trek is a well-rounded trail that offers trekkers a lot of adventure and a breath-taking landscape. It offers the right amount of challenge and a perfect test of non-technical climbing skills. The journey will be long and will need a lot of energy. The trek will also require patience as it will take 7 days to finish. The altitude is about 15,000 feet and will need moderate climbing.​

On the other hand, winter makes it difficult but can be a great challenge for experienced and brave trekkers.​

All kinds of natural beauty are spread everywhere. You will see various animals like musk deer, black bears, and Himalayan tahr. You will also see some beautiful forests with alpine trees. Aside from the majestic views - of Mt.Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Dunagiri, Hathi Parbat, Ghori Parbat, and more It is 15,000 ft. in deep snow, and the spectacular views are really out of this world. You will be guided by a trained and certified mountaineer who might require climbing gear. The journey will give you more trekking experience that will surely let you ask for more about the Himalayas.

Tour Itinerary 

01 Day: Rishikesh to Joshimath (10 Hours Drive )
The group will assemble at the pickup point at 06:00 AM.
Afterward, you'll be introduced to the whole group and a small briefing session would also be provided.
Afterward, we’ll head out for Joshimath.
We'll reach Joshimath by the evening and check into our designated home stays.
Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay.
*The pick-up point would be Rishikesh ISBT (tentative).

02 Day: Drive from Joshimath to Dhak | Trek to Guling
After early morning breakfast, we'll head out for Dhak.
Upon reaching Dhak, we will start our trek to Guling.
We'll reach Guling by the afternoon and check into our campsite.
Lunch will be served later on. The rest of the day is at leisure.
After some group bonding sessions, we will have dinner followed by an overnight stay in Guling.

03 Day : Trek from Guling to Khullara
After early morning breakfast, you will be given the necessary instructions regarding the trekking trails.
We will start trekking from Guling to Khullar.
En route, we will have our packed lunch. Later in the evening, we will check into our campsite at Khullara base.
The rest of the day is at leisure. As the dawn starts to fall, you will get to witness the magical starry skies above.
Dinner followed by an overnight stay at Khullara base camp.

04 Day: Trek to Pangarchulla Summit | Back to Khullara
Post breakfast, a small briefing session with necessary details about the rest of the trek will be provided.
Afterward, we will begin our trek to Pangarchulla peak by midnight.
Witness the sun rising from the great Himalayan ranges where you will catch a glimpse of Chaukhamba massif, Nilkantha peaks and Nanda Devi peaks, and many more. Afterward, we will descend towards the base camp.
We will check out from the base camp to head towards Khullara. En route, we will have our packed lunch.
Upon reaching Khullara we will check into our campsite where we will have dinner followed by an overnight stay.

05 Day: Trek from Khullara to Dhak | Drive to Joshimath
After early morning breakfast, a small briefing session with necessary details about the rest of the trek will be provided.
We will begin trekking from Khullara to Dhak village.
En route, we will have our packed lunch.
Upon reaching Dhak, we will start the drive to Joshimath.
Check in to our designated homestay at Joshimath where we will have dinner and spend the night.

06 Day: Drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh | End of tour
Post breakfast, we will check out of our accommodations.
We will drive from Joshimath to Rishikesh. You can enjoy the scenic views of some of the Prayag like Dev Prayag, Rudra Prayag, Karn Prayag.
Upon reaching Rishikesh, the group will disassemble and part their ways with fond memories.

  • Accommodation: 2 Nights in a Hotel / Homestay in Joshimath on a triple-sharing basis. 3 Nights Tented Accommodation on a triple sharing basis.

  • Transportation: Surface transfer from Joshimath to Joshimath by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Depending on the number of travelers).

  • Meals: All vegetarian meals from day 1st Dinner to day 6th Morning tea Only.

  • Snacks: Morning / Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.

  • Camping logistics: Tent, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Dining tent, Toilet tent, Sitting Stools.

Cancellation Policy


The Trans Himalayan reserves the right to cancel trips. The Trans Himalayan is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by preparing for the trip (for example non-refundable advance purchase air tickets, clothing, equipment, visa fees, medical expenses, etc.).

  • If you cancel or leave a multi-day trip for any reason:

  • More than 60 days prior to the trip start date, we will grant you a full refund less a INR 2500 per person administrative fee.

  • Between 59 and 30 days prior to the trip start date, we will retain 25 percent of the trip cost

  • Between 29 and 15 days prior to the trip start date, we will retain 75 percent of the trip cost.

  • Less than 15 days prior to the trip start date, or once the trip has begun, there will be no refund.

  • Day Hike Cancellation Policy: 50% refund with 48 hours notice; no refund within 48 hours
